When your 2-3.5-year-old rider is ready to take flight on two wheels, the Cleary Gecko is the bike to do it. The Gecko provides a seamless transition from a push-bike, making it a safe and fun foray into the world of two-wheeled adventure. This 12-inch lightweight kids bike will be your little one's ticket to freedom. The single-speed drivetrain makes learning to pedal simple and intuitive. There's a handle into the bottom of the saddle so you can easily help your child balance before they ride off on their own! Don't worry, they'll be back. Cleary recommends measuring your child's inseam and referencing their size chart to determine the best fit. - The Gecko best fits riders with an inseam of 14" to 18". First-time riders feel safest with their bottom on the saddle and their feet flat on the ground. - A child with a 15" inseam will fit the Gecko with the integrated seat/seat post dropped as low as possible. Once kids get comfortable on two wheels, they'll want to sit on the saddle with only the balls of their feet on the ground. Thus, a confident rider with a 15" inseam and a first-time rider with a 17" inseam each will feel comfortable set-up with the same position on their bikes.

Meet the Hedgehog. This 16-inch kid's bike unlocks a whole new world to preschoolers. The lightweight, durable frame of this little rig is paired with modern geometry and a medium gear ratio, equally adept at climbing and winding it up on the way down. The Hedgehog is confidence inspiring—you'll watch your child progress quickly, easily rolling over obstacles that once seemed all-too-daunting. This bike features hand brakes, just like an adult bicycle, but sized perfectly for little hands. The package comes together in kid-loved and parent-approved colors. Cleary recommends measuring your child's inseam and referencing their size chart to ensure the best fit.  Before your child can read, they can rip. The Hedgehog 16 inch kid's bike unlocks a whole new world to preschoolers. We paired a lightweight frame with modern geometry to a medium gear ratio equally adept at climbing and winding it up on the way down. Nothing on this bike distracts your preschooler from learning to flow on her bike. As kids ride farther over more varied terrain, they become comfortable enough to try some tricks. This confidence translates to independence, adventure, and endless possibilities. We designed the Hedgehog with a freewheel, allowing kids much more rideability than a coaster brake. It's a big detail, which is a game changer for kids and features hand brakes, just like an adult bike, but small, durable, and created with little hands in mind. The Hedgehog is light and strong at just 16 lbs. out of the box. It's also backed by a lifetime warranty against manufacturer's defects. When your trail boss is ready to step up from a 12 inch bike, the Hedgehog 16 inch kids bike will reliably propel your 3 to 5-year-old rider as they climb to new heights, launch jumps, drop stairs and maybe roll around standing on the top tube. Fit Hedgehog is best fit for riders with an inseam of 17" to 21". First time riders feel safest with their bottom on the saddle and their feet flat on the ground. That's how a child with an 18" inseam will fit the Hedgehog with the seat post dropped as low as possible. Once kids get more comfortable on two wheels, they'll want to sit on the saddle with the balls of their feet on the ground. Thus, a confident rider with a 17" inseam and a first-time rider with a 19" inseam will each ride with about the same seat height.

This is a frameset that can be ridden hard and put away wet. We use Tange tubing because it’s got a heritage of quality and a responsive feel. We know that the everyday cyclist needs a bike they can count on, day in and day out. From there we offered a bike that everyone could get behind: a solid platform for a multitude of fixed and single-speed builds. The beauty of the frame for us is that it keeps the track spirit, yet has never limited itself. The latest update is tweaked to fit fatter tires in case you want to try to track across. It also has an anti-rust coating on the interior of the tubes. If you choose to put brakes on, get the 57mm reach, not 49mm. We dug out the old 1950s design plans from our Milano. A classic steel tube set make up the foundation of the new Venezia. Its color matched fenders and chainguard, simple 3-speed internally geared hub, and styling pays homage to the artistic city of Venice. Simple, elegant, classical.

The Meerkat brings a healthy dose of fun for your 7 to 10-year-old rider. The Meerkat 24 comes stock with a Sturmey Archer 5 speed trigger shifter paired with a 5-speed internally geared Sturmey Archer hub. This combination equates to quick, efficient shifts without the worry of chain drops or being out of gear. Disc brakes? Yep! The Meerkat's sealed hydraulic disc brakes (front and rear) stop surely, regardless of the weather. When they're ready for longer hours in the saddle, the front and rear rack mounts make adding a basket or rear rack a cinch and usher in a world of bike-packing opportunity. To determine the best fit, Cleary suggests measuring your child's inseam and referencing their size chart. The Meerkat best fit for riders with an inseam of 22" to 26". The Meerkat has a low bottom bracket height, which allows a rider with a 22" inseam to comfortably start out on the Meerkat. The seat tube angle on the Meerkat allows the bike fit to grow along with the rider. The seat moves up and back as you increase saddle height, so even a 5' tall rider will fit the bike well.

We think by now, most of you get what Straggler is. It’s a madly versatile bike that can be used for most types of riding and riding surfaces. Better still is that you now have the option of 650b wheel size. 650b wheels were popular for a long time many years ago on ‘Constructeur’ style bicycles and we all know how real stuff was back in the day…650b wheels strike a nice balance between the benefits of both 26” and 700c sizes. The smaller wheel allows smaller riders to fit well on smaller frames, produces a stronger wheel, makes fitting big-ass tires easier and are more agile than their larger counterparts. Straggler has disc caliper mounts instead of rim brake studs. It’ll accept rotors up to 160mm. The rear dropouts are unique, too. They’re a partially closed horizontal design that accommodates singlespeed or geared drivetrains. They feature stop screws that thread in from the rear to further secure the wheel and to position the rear wheel for optimal shifting, plus a forward-mounted stop screw on the drive side to keep the wheel from slipping forward under the force of your gargantuan legs. The rear dropouts are spaced 135mm instead of 132.5mm like the Cross-Check simply because there are far more options for disc hubs in this spacing. Straggler 650b has braze-ons for fenders, racks and bottle cages. The geometry is slightly different, with angles and tube lengths very close but not identical to the Cross-Check, but like the Cross-Check it’s ready to take you just about anywhere. It’s a day tripper and a weekender. It’s a ‘rough road’ road bike. It’s a cyclocross bike with no pretense about racing. It’s a utilitarian townie. It’s a light-duty touring bike. It’s an all-weather commuter. And when you get tired of one set up, you can swap parts around and turn it into something else. We think that’s pretty neat.

So what is this Straggler anyway? The easy answer is to say that we added disc brakes to a Cross-Check and this is close to accurate. People have asked us to make a disc version of our highly versatile Cross-Check for a long time now and almost everything about the two are very similar. Straggler is slightly different, though. The most obvious difference of course is that the Straggler has disc caliper mounts instead of rim brake studs. Straggler shares all of the Cross-Check’s braze-ons for fenders, racks and bottle cages.
