"Coach Phil" Casanta is regarded as one of the top endurance sport coaches in the western United States.  A former Cat 1 cyclist, pro mountain biker and elite runner, Coach Phil has both the raw athletic experience as well as the coaching knowledge rooted in science that develops successful athletes year after year.  Coach Phil consistently guides athletes who improve dramatically, regardless of fitness level.  Athletes benefitting from Coach Phil's tutelage set personal best times, qualify for nationals, worlds and Ironman Hawaii. His athletes have won national and world championship titles and regularly climb the podium as age group champions. Coach Phil's effective and unintimidating teaching style makes him a favorite among new athletes entering the sport of triathlon. Among his areas of expertise, bike fit, biomechanics, cycling equipment & gear, cycling skills and heart rate training.
